The Community Futures is a community driven, non-profit business loan and business development organization.
Community Futures supports small business development and rural economic diversification in British Columbia. We actively work with community and business leaders to foster rural economic growth and are partners in building vibrant and sustainable communities.
Different than a bank, Community Futures uses alternate lending criteria, focusing on rural development and providing business financing to small local businesses.
We are funded by the Government of Canada through Pacific Economic Development Canada and have been supporting rural entrepreneurs for over 35 years.
Our office provides flexible and affordable small business loans, business coaching/training services and business management tools for people wanting to start, expand, franchise or sell a rural business.
