Grants for First Nations: Presented By: Tyrone Joseph from All Nations Trust.

Would you like to know what Grants are available through All Nations Trust? This workshop will provide information on support for funding and financing small business and community business projects. We’ll review eligibility requirements, eligible project expenses and activities, business planning, and funding and financing examples will be provided. Join us on Tuesday October 16, 2018 from 6pm to 8pm in the Community Room-City Hall at 2185 Voght Street.

To celebrate Small Business Week, Community Futures Nicola Valley invites you to attend our Community BBQ. Join us on Wednesday October 17, 2018 from 11:30am to 1:30pm for a hot dog and a drink by donation right outside our office located at 2185B Voght Street. Community Futures will match all donations and the proceeds will go towards supporting the Cold Weather Shelter.  Thank you to Save on Foods for providing the hot dogs. About this Webinar: The BC Rural Dividend Program provides $25 million a year to assist rural communities with a population of 25,000 or less to reinvigorate and diversify their local economies. The program is focused on supporting projects that help rural communities navigate changes impacting their economies, such as attracting and retaining youth, using innovation to drive economic growth, and developing new and effective partnerships to support shared prosperity.

The Program’s fifth application intake period is currently underway and will close on Tuesday July 31, 2018. Join the Rural Dividend Program team for a webinar on July 17, 2018 to learn answers to frequently asked questions, recommendations for strong applications, and tips for navigating the online application form.

The Merritt Youth Entrepreneur Program is offering up to $200 start-up funding and business resources to entrepreneurial youth this summer. 

                                        Deadline to apply is June 1, 2018.
